The Palmer House Hilton is a four-diamond, three-star hotel located in the heart of downtown Chicago. It is the longest operating hotel in North America. It is located minutes from Lake Michigan, and two blocks from the "magnificent mile." There is a health club, with complimentary use by guests of pool, jacuzzi and jogging track, and $9/day use of exercise equipment.

You must state that you are attending the SSSR/ST&D conference when you make your reservation, in order to get the special rates.

Single or double occupancy $130 plus tax and energy charge per night.
Triple occupancy $150 plus tax and energy charge per night.
Quadruple occupancy $170 plus tax and energy charge per night.

Tax is 14.9%; energy charge is $3 per night.
The room rates do not include breakfast or other meals.

Parking charge, self-park garage: $23 weekdays, $22 weekends, per 24 hours.
